yesterday kiara had her 4 month well-baby check up and some more immunizations. i unfortunately could not be there with her due to my work schedule. so daddy took her. the doctor says that she's catching up fast to other babies her age. she is now in the 20th percentile for her age, but hey, she's on the charts now! here are her stats:
- weight: 11lbs 13oz
- length: 24"
- head circumference: 15.6"
in the last month there are some new things that she's been doing...
she laughed! four times in a row. i always talk to her and she does her cooing noises. i said "goo goo gaa gaa" to her for the first time, that's what made her laugh... i just love baby laughs! but can i get her to do it again??? it's not as easy as it seems. yet. now when she's doing her tummy-time i can see that she is trying to get her little legs underneath her body into the crawling mode. she can roll from her front to her back and she has discovered her hands! which of course means that she is a little drool factory, they always end up in her mouth. gotta love these little milestones!
