rag quilt

i made a rag quilt..

and i am pretty proud of myself at how well it turned out.

and it didn't take as long as i thought it would.

i think i'm hooked.

i went to the fabric store, not really knowing how much fabric

to buy, so... i picked 4 different flannel patterns. 3 yards of each.

i probably have enough left over that i can make 3 more blankets!

i am already starting to think of the next one to make.

but for the next one i am going to have to invest in some good spring action scissors.. my hands hurt like crazy by the time i was done snipping!

now i have 2 of these soft snugly baby blankets!
