lately kiara has shown some attachment to her blankie.
we have dozens of them. when she gets tired and ready for a nap or bedtime, she wants her blankie.
the power has been going on and off for the past couple of days. and when it goes off, it's been staying off for quite a while. not nice when you need to do things... like wash dishes and throw in a couple loads of laundry. i am thankful that we have a generator. to run some necessary things.
so we don't go crazy.
so when i came home from work tonight the power was on. it was a mad dash to get dishes done and a load of laundry in before the power went out again. me... not thinking..
grabbed her brown blankie and put it in the wash. BAD. IDEA.
she wanted that brown blankie. not the white one (which is identical)
note to self: only wash the brown bear blankie when kiara's sleeping.
